Trailblazer School of Discovery and Design, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates at exploretrailblazer.com and trailblazerschool.com and provides a private microschool offering K–12 education and enrollment services. We are located at 4810 State Road B, Hillsboro, Missouri, 63050.

4. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY - COPPA COMPLIANCE
Trailblazer School of Discovery and Design, LLC is a private microschool and does not receive federal funding. As such, the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) does not apply to our school. We are committed to protecting the privacy of all students and families we serve, and we comply fully with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
How We Protect Children's Information:
We do not collect personal information directly from children under 13. All data collection occurs through parents or legal guardians only.
Parents and legal guardians provide verifiable consent before we collect, use, or disclose any personal information related to their child.
Parents have the right to review, correct, or request deletion of their child's information at any time by contacting us at [email protected].
We do not use children's information for targeted advertising or any commercial profiling purpose.
Student educational data is used solely to support enrollment, education delivery, and school operations.
We do not share student information with third parties for marketing, data brokering, or commercial purposes.
If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child without parental consent, contact us immediately at [email protected]. We will investigate and delete any improperly collected data within 48 hours of confirmed notification.
5. HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION
We do not sell, trade, or rent personal information. We may share data with the following service providers solely to operate our school and enrollment services:

All third-party service providers listed above are contractually bound through their published Terms of Service and/or Data Processing Agreements to maintain confidentiality and use data solely for the purpose for which it was provided.
6. COOKIES AND TRACKING
Our website and funnels use cookies and tracking technologies to:

We use Meta Pixel and Google Analytics tags on our enrollment funnels. These tools may collect browsing data to show relevant ads on other platforms. To opt out of interest-based advertising through these tools, you may use the opt-out mechanisms provided by Google Analytics Opt-Out and Meta Ad Preferences.
7. DATA RETENTION
Active enrollment data: Retained for the duration of enrollment + 7 years (for legal/financial records)
Lead/inquiry data: Retained for 24 months from last interaction
Email marketing data: Retained until unsubscribe + 30 days
Payment records: Retained per IRS requirements (minimum 7 years)
8. YOUR RIGHTS
Trailblazer School of Discovery and Design, LLC respects your right to control your personal information. Depending on your state of residence and applicable law, you may have the following rights:
Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you or your child
Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information
Deletion: Request that we delete your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements (see Section 7)
Opt-Out of Marketing: Unsubscribe from email communications at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email, or text STOP to opt out of SMS messages
Withdraw Consent: Withdraw previously provided consent for data collection or communications
Missouri Residents: Trailblazer School of Discovery and Design, LLC operates in Jefferson County, Missouri. We comply with all applicable Missouri and federal privacy laws. Missouri does not currently have a comprehensive state consumer privacy statute; your rights are governed by applicable federal law including COPPA and CAN-SPAM. You may contact us at any time to exercise any right listed above.
To Exercise Any of These Rights:

9. DATA SECURITY
We implement industry-standard security measures including:
SSL/TLS encryption on all web pages and forms
Password-protected CRM access (GoHighLevel)
Limited staff access on a need-to-know basis
Payment data processed via PCI-compliant processor (we do not store credit card numbers)
Date Breach Response:
In the event of a security breach affecting your personal information, we will notify affected individuals in accordance with applicable Missouri and federal law, including Missouri Revised Statutes § 407.1500, in the most expedient time possible and without unreasonable delay.
10. POLICY UPDATES
We may update this policy periodically. Fresh parental consent will be obtained via written confirmation by email or re-execution of the enrollment agreement prior to implementing any material change.
